     Hi,

     Some news about Python on Sailfish :
- the Sailfish/Python Development wiki page was updated listing Python 
2.7 & 3 modules :

- MatPlotLib released on Sailfish, with v1.3.1 with Agg backend 
(default) and WebAgg backend (interactive via web browser and supporting 
MatPlotLib animations) :

The dependencies python-pyparsing, python-pytz, python-dateutil and 
python-six were also packaged;
- IPython was updated to 2.1.0 :

- and NumPy to 1.8.1 :

     So Sailfish now has the last versions of IPython, NumPy, MatPlotLib 
and SymPy, a complete scientific suite of Python modules & tools.

     For example, NumPy on Maemo 5 was a dependency for 8 sofwares 
(python-pygame, MyPaint paint program, game SolarWolf, etc), so NumPy, 
MatPlotLib and SymPy can be used by other softwares in Sailfish.
