[SailfishDevel] canonicalization unexpectedly shrank by one character

Hi,

I'm trying to build daedalus, but packaging stops with:


extracting debug info from /home/deploy/installroot/usr/bin/harbour-daedalus
/usr/lib/rpm/debugedit: canonicalization unexpectedly shrank by one 
character
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.MjDuYA (%install)
     Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.MjDuYA (%install)


Could somebody give me a hint on how I could workaround this?

It was already asked way back ago on IRC, but it wasn't answered.

As I found out by googling the error, it has probably got to do with a 
path to sth containing an unnecessary "/" or "."
