Dear Sailors,
This is a newbie post. So far, I have not been able to find the
information I have been looking for. Feel free to point me to relevant
sources, should I have overlooked them.
I am interested in reading the Qualcomm chipset messages going through
/etc/diag according to the developers of Mobile Insight
(http://www.mobileinsight.net/). In a nutshell, I aim at porting
diag_revealer
(https://github.com/mobile-insight/mobileinsight-mobile/blob/master/diag_revealer/qcom/jni/diag_revealer.c)
to SFOS.
Here are my questions:
1. Is the Platform SDK the right tool to investigate such low-level
hardware signalling? GCC compilation of a small piece of code went
smoothly, but at runtime I get "open diag dev: No such file or
directory"
2. Is there a SFOS-specific sheet of IOCTL commands for diagnostic
post? Are the Android's IOCTL commands applicable to SFOS as well?
Thanks in advance for your tips,
LS
