The page you kindly sent me has additional information, which I haven't had time to try yet and which may point to a solution to the problem. If so, then they need to add the information to the page above. I can't remember where I found out how to enable Developer mode, since the Jolla phone manual only has one line, saying it needs to be enabled if you want it. It's possible I just followed through the instructions on the phone itself.</div><div><br /></div><div>Yes, the Xperia phone image upload is very well documented, but unfortunately the phone I purchased was one of a batch number where the manufacturers had, for some obscure reason, blocked flashing of new images. Of course, I didn't know that when I purchased the phone - it's not the kind of detail they worry about on Amazon!
