I am the author of [1] Bluetooth (bluez5) connect HFT profile.<br>

As I own Intex AquaFish and now Sony Xperia X, I was very surprised that I<br>
was not able to pair Sailfish X with my car. Later I found this article [2]<br>
which states that HFT was dropped in bluez5.<br>
<br>
So AquaFish using bluez4 works fine, but Sailfish X which uses bluez5 is not<br>
able to connect to HFT, simply because there is no HFT support in bluez5.<br>
<br>
My request would be to provide working bluez4 stack in Sailfish X, for which<br>
all of us will be very thankful as we can use the phone in the car (as<br>
stated basic functionality). As some users reported, including me, the<br>
phone is a no go without HFT.<br>
<br>
I also tried installing bluez4 and could bring up the adapter, but could not<br>
pair and the interface stopped working. There were few packages missing etc<br>
etc., so at the end I gave up.<br>
<br>
Alternatively I read there is development in ophono to support HFT, but<br>
unstable or buggy. I did not follow on that.<br>
<br>
I can build, install and test packages if you need some assistance. The<br>
Sailfish X is anyway not used ATM.<br>
