I forgot to mention that I copied only the two required packages to the
device (no dev, source or test), but still the error come up.
Perhaps I would try build them for the emulator and deploy them there,
however I skipped this step, because it does not make sense to install
there when no bluetooth is attached, or would the emulator provide the
hosts BT via the virtual hardware?

Thank you for this information, I am looking forward to test it - I am
afraid breaking the package that states it obsoletes the buteo packages,
but it looks like some meta package.
